MagicPrints3D respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to clear, well-supported infringement notices promptly. This page explains how to submit a notice, what we do with it, and what happens next.

1. Who can file

The owner of an exclusive right (or their authorised agent) in any work that they believe is being reproduced, sold, or printed on our platform without permission. This applies to:

  • 3D models and STL/OBJ/3MF files uploaded by community creators
  • Images, photos, and artwork uploaded into customisation tools (Lithophane, Photo Keychain, Sign Studio, etc.)
  • Trademark or character names used in product titles or descriptions
  • Physical products being printed and shipped to customers

2. What to include in your notice

Email copyright@magicprints3d.com with all of the following:

  • Your full name, organisation, postal address, phone number, and email.
  • Identification of the work claimed to be infringed (registration number, link to the original, photos, etc.).
  • Direct URL(s) to the infringing material on our site OR the order number, design ID, or tool config ID.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorised by you, your agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our response

We aim to action complete notices within 2 working days. Action typically includes:

  • Removing or disabling access to the offending model, image, listing, or tool config.
  • Cancelling and refunding any pending orders for the affected item.
  • Notifying the user who uploaded or ordered the item and warning them.
  • Repeat offenders have their accounts terminated.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to copyright@magicprints3d.com including:

  • Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your contact details and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  • Your signature.

We may restore the material 10–14 working days after receipt unless the original complainant initiates legal action.

5. Pre-emptive content review

We use automated screening on user uploads to filter known infringing material (perceptual hash matching against public IP databases) and block obvious trademark strings. This is best-effort, not exhaustive. Rights holders should still file notices for anything that slips through.

6. Misuse warning

Submitting false or bad-faith infringement notices is a serious offence. We may report bad-faith filers to authorities and pursue costs.
